With the Rabo Sustainable Innovation Award, Rabobank encourages companies and start-ups to collaborate on innovative solutions that make a difference. For over 20 years, the prize has been awarded annually to 3 winners, each in their respective categories. This year, the categories are Food Transition, Energy Transition and Inclusive Society & Health. 

Refurb Battery is nominated in the category of 'energy transition' and selected as one of the final 5. These final contestants will pitch their innovation on the 16th of May 2023.  The jury will choose the winner in each category. In addition to Rabobank employees, these juries consist of entrepreneurs and experts. The winners of each category and the winner of the Rabo Sustainable Innovation Member Award 2023 will be announced immediately at the end of the day. From april 10th forward, members of Rabo Bank can vote for their favorite to determine who will receive the public's choice prize.
